COVID Response

Dear Valued Partners:

We want to take a moment to update our Distribution Partners on the steps Sombra Professional Therapy Products is taking in response to COVID-19. We know that a COVID response plan is necessary, however, with developments on the spread of this virus happening quickly, it also essential to have a contingency plan in the event we are compromised.

New Mexico Safe Certified

We are New Mexico Safe Certified. Our staff is trained and certified in COVID safe practices. We are committed to following the NM Public Health Order by following the 3 W’s:

  • Wear a Mask: We require everyone in our buildings to wear a face covering that covers both mouth and nose
  • Wash your Hands: We promote good overall hygiene including consistent hand washing and the use of Sombra® Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer
  • Watch your Distance: We maintain a 6-foot distance from others

We have implemented additional safety protocols:

Screen every staff member prior to the start of work every day (including a temperature check)
Restricted visitors to essentials services only. All visitors are also screened prior to entry in any of our buildings
Implemented a system for contact tracing for both staff and essential visitors
Restricted access to our production and warehouse staff to essential employees only
Manufacturing and Distribution

Our production is running at full capacity. We are focusing on a safe environment for our production and warehouse teams. We are committed to continually implementing safety protocols to keep our people safe. We are prepared to work with individuals should they become compromised and are ready to implement the recommended preventative measures to stop the community spread of the coronavirus while ensuring our facilities remain staffed and running efficiently.

While we are not anticipating any interruption in production or fulfilling orders, we highly recommend distributors get orders in early as possible to meet your customer needs for the remainder of Q4. We are anticipating longer than usual shipping times.

During this unpredictable time, Sombra does not claim to have a guaranteed response to the pandemic, but we want our partners to rest assured that we are committed to working with our community and the State of New Mexico to get through this crisis while taking the CDC recommended measures to avoid any disruption in service.
