Equipment Maintenance Technician
Full-time | On-site | Small OTC Manufacturing CompanyThe Equipment Maintenance Technician will apply various technologies to test, maintain and modify manufacturing machinery and equipment, purified water systems, and other infrastructure related to GMP compliance. This position reports to the Director of Quality.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures quality and consistency in production processes by assessing, modifying, and/or calibrating equipment, ensuring that all equipment used in production is IQ, OQ and PQ validated, and perform regular Preventative Maintenance.
- Ensures efficiency and productivity by evaluating and modifying production processes and/or equipment.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, or products; uses precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to make adjustments.
- Assists Quality and Production groups with tasks related to development, construction, and evaluation of equipment prototypes, new products, operations, and/or procedures.
- Drafts and maintains equipment maintenance logs, inventories, documentation, and reports including those outlining procedures, batch records, inventory, productivity, changeover, and progress.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to clearly communicate with engineering, technical support, sales, and management.
- Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software such as equipment maintenance planning and tracking software.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least two years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements. - Prolonged periods of standing in the factory and at times, sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Manual dexterity to evaluate, install, and modify equipment.

- Pay: $23.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 40 per week
