The Business Development Administrator goal is to work with clients and prospects to satisfy needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and deliver a positive customer experience. The Business Development Administrator must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be quickly responsive to customers.

Ultimately, the Business Development Administrator should be able to grow Sombra business through diligent follow-up with business leads and by building successful, long-term client relationships with domestic and international distributors, retailers, health service providers, eCommerce partners, government clients and/or custom manufacturing partners.

  • Coordinate, develop and manage a portfolio of prospect and client accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Develop positive relationships with customers – internal and external.
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ needs.
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer leads.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions to the Sombra management team.
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g., monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue performance).
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Represent Sombra at trade shows. Possible travel involved (eligible for overtime).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Proven work experience in a sales role, with B2B sales strongly preferred.
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Knowledge of business software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
